Exness is an international forex and CFD broker offering currency pairs, precious metals such as gold, cryptocurrencies, indices, energies and stock CFDs.
Its trading environment includes low-spread accounts, MT4 and MT5, high leverage for eligible accounts, generally 0% stop out and negative balance protection. These features are relevant to short-term traders and users of Expert Advisors (EAs).
This guide explains Exness, its account types, benefits and limitations, followed by how our Discord community’s cashback account arrangement works and how eligible readers can register.
This information is intended for readers whose country of residence permits the relevant services and whom Exness is allowed to accept. English-language availability does not mean the service is available in every English-speaking country. Check eligibility, the contracting entity and local rules before registering.
Leveraged forex and CFDs can cause substantial losses in a short time. Trade only with money you can afford to lose and use appropriate risk controls.
What is Exness?

Founded in 2008, Exness is a global online broker. Companies within its group hold financial licences in several jurisdictions and provide services through different entities. A licence in one jurisdiction does not automatically authorise services in another.
MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) are supported. Exness Trade and the browser-based Exness Terminal are also available in eligible regions. MT4 and MT5 support both manual trading and automated trading using EAs.

Key features and benefits
High leverage, subject to eligibility
Maximum leverage varies with account equity, trading activity, volume, instruments and periods around economic announcements. Some qualifying accounts may be able to select “unlimited leverage.”
Higher leverage reduces the margin needed for a given position. Using it to increase position size also magnifies gains and losses. Unlimited leverage is not available by default and does not apply to every instrument or region.

Generally 0% stop out
Exness accounts generally use a 0% stop-out level, which can allow positions to remain open at lower margin levels than with brokers using a higher threshold.
A later stop out does not reduce losses. An adverse move can consume most or all of your account funds, so stop losses and position sizing remain essential. Stop-out levels may change for certain instruments, including stock CFDs, when market risk increases.
Negative balance protection
If a sudden market move or price gap causes a negative trading balance, Exness’s negative balance protection generally resets it to zero under the applicable terms. This is intended to prevent an additional claim for trading losses beyond the deposited funds.
It does not reimburse losses or protect your deposit: you can still lose all the money in the account.

Five account types for different approaches
The range runs from Standard accounts with straightforward pricing to accounts focused on tighter spreads. Scalpers, day traders and EA users can compare the options against their own trading requirements.

EA trading on MT4 and MT5
Compatible MetaTrader accounts support EAs, custom indicators and scripts. Choose MT4 or MT5 when creating the trading account, based on the software you intend to use.
An MT4 trading account cannot be converted to MT5 or used in MT5, and vice versa. EAs run in the compatible desktop MetaTrader platform or a suitable hosted environment; they do not run inside Exness Trade or Exness Terminal.

Deposit and withdrawal requests around the clock
Requests can generally be submitted through the Personal Area 24/7. Available methods, limits and processing times depend on your region and verification status; submitting a request does not mean it will settle immediately.
Exness generally does not charge its own processing fees, although banks or payment providers may charge fees. Use payment methods in the same name as the Exness account; third-party payments are generally not accepted.

Comparing Exness account types
The following is a selection guide. Availability and account conditions can change by region and over time.
| Account | Main features | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | No separate trading commission; costs included in the spread | Beginners, manual traders and simple pricing |
| Standard Cent | Smaller trading units | Small-scale practice and EA forward testing |
| Pro | Tight spreads, generally no trading commission; instant or market execution depending on the instrument | Scalping, day trading and experienced traders |
| Raw Spread | Spreads from 0.0 pips plus a commission schedule | Detailed cost management and EA trading |
| Zero | Designed to offer zero spreads on selected instruments for specified periods; instrument-specific commissions | Short-term trading focused on particular instruments |
Standard: straightforward pricing
Standard includes trading costs in the spread, with no separate trading commission. Its minimum deposit depends on region and payment method, and it can generally be started with less money than professional accounts.
Pro and Raw Spread for short-term strategies
Small spread differences can accumulate over many EA or scalping trades. Pro combines tighter spreads with generally no trading commission; Raw Spread combines very tight spreads with separate commission.
The narrowest quoted spread does not necessarily mean the lowest total cost. Compare your instruments, trading hours, holding periods, lot sizes and round-trip commissions.
What is an Exness cashback account?

Registering through our community’s partner link or code links eligible accounts to our rebate arrangement. We return eligible partner remuneration generated by trading activity to the trader.
Spreads and commissions are normally trading expenses. Receiving part of that cost back afterwards can reduce the effective cost compared with an otherwise equivalent account without cashback.
Cashback does not directly change the quoted spread or trading conditions. It reduces the effective cost through a rebate paid after qualifying trades.
Returning 100% of eligible IB remuneration
Under our community’s arrangement, we generally return 100% of the eligible partner remuneration we receive from Exness to the user. This is not a refund of 100% of trading costs.
| Eligible account | Indicative cashback rate |
|---|---|
| Standard | 40% of the eligible spread basis |
| Pro | 25% of the eligible spread basis |
These indicative rates describe our community’s offer and depend on the partner programme’s calculation rules. Instruments, account type, volume, holding time, Exness’s eligibility assessment and rule changes can affect the amount. A uniform payment on every trade is not guaranteed.
Automatic credit to the trading account
Eligible cashback is generally credited automatically to the Exness trading account from the day after trading. There is normally no need to request a withdrawal from an external cashback provider, and credited funds can be used as margin.
Processing, holidays and maintenance may affect the payment date and time.
Community-only campaigns
Eligible users of our community’s cashback arrangement can participate in campaigns offering prizes, EAs, indicators or other trading tools, subject to each campaign’s terms.
Details and participation requirements are announced in the relevant Discord community channels.

How much can cashback reduce costs?

For illustration, assume a Standard account incurs USD 500 in eligible spread costs over a month and the applicable rebate is 40%.
- Monthly eligible spread cost: USD 500
- Cashback rate: 40%
- Indicative cashback: USD 500 × 40% = USD 200
- Indicative effective cost: USD 500 − USD 200 = USD 300
Larger eligible trading volumes can produce larger total rebates. For scalping and frequently trading EAs, small differences can add up over a month or year.
This is a simplified example, not a currency conversion of the original article’s yen figures. Actual calculations vary by instrument and conditions. Cashback does not eliminate trading losses, and increasing trading solely to earn rebates can increase losses.
How to open an eligible Exness cashback account

The steps below explain registration linked to our community. Proceed only if the service and funding method are permitted for your actual country of residence.
Step 1: Open the dedicated registration link
Complete registration in the same browser. Switching to another referral link during registration can prevent the correct partner information from being applied. Select your preferred language on the registration page if necessary.
Step 2: Enter your residence, email and password
Select your actual country or region of residence and enter an email address and login password. Your residence must match the information you can document during verification.
Do not select a false country or attempt to register from an excluded location.
Step 3: Check partner code “dmj84adj”
If a partner-code field is shown, enter:
dmj84adj
The dedicated link may apply the partner information automatically. If the field appears, check that the code is correct.
Step 4: Complete your profile and verification
In the Personal Area, complete phone verification, personal details and the economic profile as requested. Submit the identity and address documents Exness requests.
- Identity examples: passport, driving licence or government-issued identity card
- Address examples: utility bill, bank statement or a document issued by a public authority
Accepted documents and validity requirements differ by region. Follow the instructions on the upload screen.
Step 5: Create an MT4 or MT5 trading account
Create a trading account in the Personal Area and choose the account type, MT4 or MT5, leverage, base currency and trading password.
For EAs, choose the compatible MetaTrader platform in advance. An existing trading account cannot be switched between MT4 and MT5.
Step 6: Deposit and start trading
Under “Deposit,” choose an available payment method. Check the minimum, maximum, processing time and fees before funding.
After funding, log into MT4, MT5 or another supported platform. Once qualifying trades are processed, eligible cashback is credited later.
If you already have an Exness account
Before creating another Personal Area or requesting a partner change, check the current rules with Exness support. Registration with a different email address may be an option only where Exness permits it; it does not guarantee cashback eligibility.

Important points before using Exness
Spreads are variable
“From 0.0 pips” describes a minimum, not a permanent spread. Spreads may widen during low-liquidity sessions, the weekly market open, major data releases, speeches and abrupt market moves.
High leverage can magnify losses
Leverage reduces margin requirements; it does not make trading safer. Increasing lot size with the same account funds can make even a small market move costly.
Payments generally must be in your own name
Third-party deposits and withdrawals are generally prohibited. Using a relative’s account, a company account that does not match the registered holder, or another person’s card can lead to rejection or additional verification.
Who may find cashback useful?
- Eligible traders who already plan to use Exness regularly
- Active scalpers and day traders
- EA users seeking to reduce trading expenses
- Frequent traders of gold or major forex pairs
- Traders who prefer automatic rebates without external withdrawal requests
- Users interested in community campaigns
Frequently asked questions

Does a cashback account have wider spreads?
The arrangement is not intended to change Exness’s basic quoted conditions. Spreads still vary by market conditions, instrument, account type and time; compare equivalent accounts and all applicable costs.
Do I need to request each cashback payment?
Normally not, provided the account is correctly linked and eligible. Credits are made automatically after qualifying trades are processed.
Should I choose Standard or Pro?
Standard offers straightforward pricing. Pro may suit traders prioritising tighter spreads for short-term strategies. Compare execution, minimum deposits and total instrument-specific costs before deciding.
Are EA trades eligible?
They can be, when they satisfy Exness and partner-programme requirements. Trades considered abusive or contrary to the terms, including certain short-lived hedging or arbitrage patterns, may be excluded; check the applicable rules.
Can I receive cashback without trading?
Generally no. Rebates arise from eligible trading activity. This is not a cash reward simply for registering or making a deposit.
What if I forgot the partner code?
The dedicated link may have applied it automatically. If you are unsure whether the account is linked, contact us before trading.
